Dark skies made the crowd of 1706 at batukarang fc Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. The match took place on neutral ground. A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for UNITED. UNITED mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. FFCN2006 seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. Adriano Vilela came close to putting the visiting team one up 16 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but Magnus Månsson managed to tip the ball to a corner. Bilal Al-Ghandi showed his inexperience when he failed to anticipate the bounce of a high ball, allowing UNITED's Rico Bekenkamp to take advantage and place a shot into the bottom corner of the goal. 1 - 0. 21 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Jurica Razi dashed through, knocking home 2 - 0 for UNITED. UNITED's Stefan Davidsson saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 63 minutes. Stefan Davidsson increased UNITED's lead to 5 - 1, putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. At that, Stefan Davidsson was noted down for a hat trick. The home team's fans were upset when, after 74 minutes, the visiting Benedicto Valiño broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 5 - 2 was the score. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Gajamukha Ganapathy squirmed himself through their central defence after 79 minutes, bringing the lead to 6 - 2.
