A great save by keeper Rahmat Oba after 21 minutes kept the visitors in the game after Gajamukha Ganapathy struck from the left with a real cannonball. With 23 minutes played, UNITED's Dave Devos tried to nail the coffin shut, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. With 26 minutes played, UNITED's Dave Devos fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee booked Dave Devos for diving. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in UNITED's Bakti Kudji putting the lead up to 2 - 0. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. UNITED held the ball, with a clear 61 percent of possession.
The visitors got one back when Fredy Marbacher finished off a pass from the left and scored after 58 minutes. 2 - 1 was the score. Cheers filled the stadium as Brian Mansell broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the 3 - 1 goal for UNITED. 73 minutes into the game, Igor Dujšin had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Thijmen Veldscholten. 73 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as Gajamukha Ganapathy dashed through, knocking home 4 - 1 for UNITED. Lars Mauk got left behind when UNITED's Rico Bekenkamp made a sudden pull forward after 81 minutes, finishing off with a swift strike. 5-1! After this, UNITED lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. With 84 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock, Cokelat showed some good morale and were able to reduce the score to 5 - 2 when Antoine Kiester got past the home side's central defenders right in front of the goal. The forty-five minutes were dominated by UNITED, with an impressive 59 percent possession of the ball.
Jurica Razi performed admirably for UNITED. Rico Bekenkamp turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Cokelat player was Fredy Marbacher. Isnan Handjoyo was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 2.
